Learn About Our New Building
We are building an extension to the church because of four main reasons.
First, it helps our mission to reach, equip, and send those who desire
to discover Christ and belong in God’s growing family.
Second, we have overgrown our present building. In the last seven years,
we have grown from 50 to 250 people. Our children, teen, and adult
ministries continue to grow and there are still many more to reach.
Third, there are other ministry opportunities (Outreach, Children,
Youth, etc.) that we are not able to accommodate now, but we will be
able to with the expanded facilities.
F inally, we spent months investigating other options. These included:
purchasing undeveloped land and building from the ground up, buying an
existing building, leasing modular buildings, or leasing property. After
prayerful and careful consideration, it all led to the same conclusion:
expanding the existing property is the best financial and ministry
decision.
Who are The Wesleyans
The Wesleyan Church is an evangelical, Protestant denomination. We offer
the good news that faith in Jesus Christ makes possible a wonderful
personal relationship with God, a holy life empowered by His Spirit for
witness and service, and assurance of eternal life in heaven. Our
ministries emphasize practical Bible teaching, uplifting worship and
special programs to meet a variety of life needs.
With World Headquarters in Fishers, Indiana, The Wesleyan Church has
nearly 400,000 constituents in 5,000 churches and missions in 80
countries of the world. Formed in 1968 resulting from the mergers
between several like-minded groups, dating back as far as 1843, The
Wesleyan Church has its roots in John Wesley’s Methodism.
